NEW YORK – A new professional basketball league announced it will begin play during the 2020/2021 season. The league will be based in New York under the direction of Founder and CEO Howard Jordan, who will also serve as Commissioner of the new league and C. Edward “Ed” Schumer who was named Associate Commissioner and Chief Strategy Officer.
We, the UBA, would like to build the best basketball league that our country has ever seen. Our mission is to support people of all age/race/gender, and take action to social injustices through out our country. Our goal is to find solutions of peace and celebrate equality through the everlasting relationship of the UBA Basketball League with its members, affiliates and communities that strengthen our vision.
